Forgan Arts Centre seek to appoint a person to lead a programme of activity related to the climate crisis, climate action and food insecurity working with volunteers and the local community.
A new fixed term, part time position at Forgan Arts Centre in North-East Fife.
This role is suitable for an artist, creative practitioner, programmer, producer, facilitator, activist – someone with a strong interest in art, craft, creativity, climate action, the natural environment, and working with people.
Job title: G.R.E.E.N. Artist/Creative Practitioner
Salary: £27,500 pro rata which is £16,500 per annum.
Hours: 0.6FTE which is 3 days or 24 hours per week.
Period: This is a fixed term role for 12 months.
Location: Forgan Arts Centre is in Newport-on-Tay, North-East Fife.
Budget: The artist or practitioner will have a budget of £10,000.
The G.R.E.E.N. (Grow, Recycle, Educate, Empower, Nourish) Artist/Creative Practitioner is a part time, 3-day a week position for 12 months. The aim of this position is to connect with local people and volunteers about the climate crisis, climate action, and food insecurity. They will develop and deliver activities on the themes of climate change and sustainability. They will be responsible for the administration of the project, with support from Forgan Arts Centre staff.
