MAP – Men’s Art Project, Artist in Residence

LAC is looking to recruit an artist to work with two local organisations:
– Listening Ear -Caithness Men’s Group (JIM), Thurso and Wick groups
– Centred – Friday Men’s Group, Wick
This Artist in Residence will be a professional artist or creative practitioner based in or near the Caithness area and able to run regular in person sessions in Wick and Thurso. The artist will engage with participants from these groups and offer creative experiences.
Key Information
– 1.5 days per week over a six month period (36 days). This will take place between December 2024 and June 2025.
– The fee is £250 per day (total fee £9000)
– There is also a £2000 materials budget.
