Collective Edinburgh – Producer

We’re currently looking for a Producer to work closely with our Director and Head of Programme to generate and implement our artistic programme, with particular responsibility for managing Satellites Programme, aspects of Constellations Programme and blended and digital activities through our public programme.
Collective’s Satellites Programme is a development programme for emerging practitioners based in Scotland. It is core to Collective’s mission and creative vision. Satellites Programme participants are selected through an open application process to a new panel each year, made up of invited creative practitioners. The Programme has been developed to support and assist the development of practitioners at a pivotal point in their careers.
The programme includes discussions, events, exhibitions and retreats, all of which seek to foster criticality through peer development and reflection.
In response to the changing cultural and social climate Collective are currently evaluating our Satellites Programme, the successful candidate would lead on this evaluation and be fundamental to shaping the programme for the future. Selected by a new panel each year has been developed to facilitate practitioners at a pivotal, emergent moment in their careers and supports the production of new commissions. Satellites is based in our new purpose-built exhibition space The Hillside. Selected participants receive funding as well as support from the Collective team and our dedicated facilitator.
The Producer will also support the programme of City Dome exhibitions and will play a central role in the Programme team.
