About

Jen Bradley (b. 1987, Glasgow) is a visual artist who creates contemplative, often fragmented works to articulate the loss felt in the absence of people. She studied Painting BA (Hons) at Grays School of Art from 2009 – 2013.

Exhibitions include: ‘Method’ Patriothall Gallery, Edinburgh (2016); ‘Grampian Hospitals Art Trust Artists Group Show’, The Suttie Arts Space, Aberdeen Royal Infirmary (2015); ‘Unrecorded’, solo exhibition, Smart Gallery, Aberdeen (2014).

Residencies at the Scottish Sculpture Workshop, Lumsden (2017 and 2014), influenced the use of clay, porcelain and casting in Jen’s work. She is currently building a small ceramics studio with a focus on further exploring the boundaries of clay and porcelain in her next body of work.

Jen shares her studio processes with children and adults in hospital, school and community settings. She has developed projects with: Reachout with Arts in Mind, Alloa (2019 – current); Leitrim County Council Arts Programme, Ireland (2017 – 2019); Art in Healthcare, Paisley, Edinburgh (2018); Grampian Hospitals Art Trust, Artroom Project, Aberdeen (2013 – 2019).
