About
I’m an artist based in the Highlands who works across choreography, performance, participatory practice, film and photography. I am interested in working with movement, the body, objects and materials that reflect the environment, history and people I see around me. I collaborate with other artists from interdisciplinary fields to create live indoor and outdoor performance, digital/multi-media projects and community engagement events.
As an artist who works primarily with movement and the body, over the last few years I’ve become particularly interested in the intersection between choreography and visual art. Alongside my current live performance work – The Morrich – I’ve developed a supporting visual art exhibition to share context of the research and development of the work through photographs, video and found objects. And through my current projects – Goldy-looking blanket and Buckethead – I’m exploring the potential for pop-up performance and creative documentary short film for gallery spaces and festivals.
