A guide to captioning for the cultural sector

Edinburgh based Theatre Captioner, Live Captioner and Lipspeaker Louisa McDaid has put together a comprehensive guide to captioning for the cultural sector in Scotland. Captioning is a process used for live events in which spoken word and non-verbal information is converted to simultaneous text displayed visually. The aim of the guide is to help assist live performance, arts and cultural venues and organisations who may be interested in putting on a captioned event or extending their current captioning offer.
