About
Offline is a specialist arts organisation dedicated to the production and exhibition of artists’ moving image. We are working towards open a new venue with screening facilities, exhibition, workshop space and artists’ studios – fulfilling a 7-year ambition to create a dedicated space for artists’ film in Glasgow.
We have been working collaboratively with artists and our local community since 2018, holding screenings in parks, on the streets and in abandoned warehouses. We are working towards building a new permanent home, a platform for ambitious time-based practice, experimental cinema and archival films.
We are a small-scale operation with just two part-time staff, Lydia Honeybone and Leonie Gasson. We are not part of the Creative Scotland Multi-Year Funding portfolio. We are a queer and neuro-diverse led team with a strong commitment to anti-racism and accessibility across both our public facing programmes and embedded into our core values and ways of working.
