Sophie Camu Lindsay is an art consultant and curator, working in the art world for 25 years. She spent ten years as an Impressionist and Modern Art expert at Sotheby’s in Paris, London and New York. She was a Director and Vice President in the department and Head of the Impressionist and Modern Art Day Auctions.
In 2010, Sophie set up Camu Art Ltd to offer a highly personalised art advisory service to clients wishing to create, expand or modify their fine art collections. Whether it be to source works privately, bid at auction, negotiate with dealers or tour art fairs, Sophie supports clients in building collections that will bring cultural, artistic and financial rewards.
Now based in Fife, Scotland with her young family, Sophie continues to travel and explore the international art market, while additionally co-founding ‘Space to Breathe’ – an annual fine art exhibition and festival held in Fife each summer.
